ASTM A350 LF2 Flanges, Carbon steel LF2 Blind Flanges ( BLRTJ ), Carbon steel LF2 Weld Neck Flanges ( WNRF ), Carbon steel LF2 Weld Neck Flanges ( WNRTJ ), Carbon steel F60 Socket Weld Flanges ( SORF )

This specification covers forged or rolled alloy and stainless steel pipe flanges, forged fittings, and valves and parts for high-temperature service. After hot working, forgings shall be cooled to a specific temperature prior to heat treatment, which shall be performed in accordance with certain requirements such as heat treatment type, austenitizing/solution temperature, cooling media, and quenching. The materials used for ASTM A350 LF2 Flanges shall conform to the required chemical composition for carbon, manganese, phosphorus, silicon, nickel, chromium, molybdenum, columbium, titanium. The material shall conform to the requirements as to mechanical properties for the grade ordered such as tensile strength, yield strength, elongation, Brinell hardness. All H grades and grade F 63 shall be tested for average grain size.

Specifications of ASTM A350 LF2 Flanges

ASTM A350 LF2 Flanges is general Carbon steel usually supplied in the Normalised, Normalised, and Tempered or Quench and Tempered condition. It is typified by having moderate strength and impact toughness and is used extensively for the manufacture of flanges and fittings, and applications that require cold temperature service where corrosion resistance is not important. A105 allows that for each .01% Carbon below .35, an increase of .06% Manganese is permitted over 1.05 to a maximum of 1.35. This explains the typical analysis above.

A105 and A350-LF2 are standard designations for forged carbon steel piping components. A105 for ambient and higher-temperature accommodation; A350-LF2 for low-temperature accommodation with Charpy V-Notch impact energy testing. Components include flanges, sundry fittings, and valves.
Some components may be machined from a sultry rolled or forged bar, congruously heat-treated, up to and including NPS 4. Visually perceive details in the ASTM designations

Customarily, the material ASTM A350 LF2 Flanges is a general Carbon steel grade that is supplied either in a Normalised, Normalised, and Tempered condition or a Quenched and Tempered condition. The ASTM A350 LF2 Flanges is typified by having both moderate vigor and impact toughness. Ergo the ASTM A350 LF2 Flanges is utilized extensively in the manufacture of flanges and fittings. The ASTM A350 LF2 Flanges is withal utilized in applications where corrosion resistance is not paramount, namely in arctic temperature accommodation.

ASTM A350 LF2 Blind Flanges (BLRF):

The blind flanges are a special type of flanges because they terminate a pipeline at the connection point. Our Carbon Steel Blind Flanges are mostly used to seal the end or opening of a pipe.

ASTM A350 LF2 Blind Flanges (BLRTJ):

The raised face in the Grade F42 Steel BLRTJ Flanges does not serve as any part of the sealing in the pipe. Used in quick assembly to save the cost, these are also used in less strict requirements in terms of length of pipe section.

ASTM A350 LF2 Weld Neck Flanges (WNRF / WNRTJ):

These are mainly used on heat coupling of pipes when there is possibility of expansion of the section while bending stress on the coupling. These pipe flanges are attached by welding the pipe to the neck of the flange.

ASTM A350 LF2 Socket Weld Flanges (SORF):

ASTM A694 F42 Socket Weld Flanges provides easy access to a piping system for purposes like cleaning, inspection or modification in addition to forming the system. The Socket Welding Flange is attached to the pipe by a fillet weld around the hub of the flange.
