Attestation of the construction that is underway of the 4,000-km Power of Serbian Pipeline that will distribute 38 bcma of gas to China, has been affirmed by Russia’s Gazprom and China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC). According to CNPC, the project took place near the city of Heibe in the northern Heilongjiang Province bordering Russia is where the first joint of pipe was welded in the Chinese sector. The commencement of building the 2,500-mile eastern route was done by Russia in its section. The pipeline was due to be fully operational in late 2017.
